First Dibs, Celebrations, and Studio Notes: My Next Painting Drop Is Live ın 2 hours
Somewhere between paint and fairy tales, this month’s work came to life,
Lately I’ve been deep in the world of fairy tales, not the shiny versions, but the strange, weird, darker ones that shaped how we see things growing up. That overlap between fantasy and what shapes our world perception has definitely got into my latest work.
I’m releasing a 1/1 oil painting as part of a curated drop on the Tezos blockchain. It’s part of a series I started while revisiting old fairy tales, especially Pinocchio. There’s this line from the Blue Fairy that kept echoing in my head while painting:
“Prove yourself brave, truthful and unselfish, and someday you will be a real boy.”
That mix of transformation, and strong desire to be real, stuck with me while painting.
